Privacy Policy

Who we are
Motivation Club (“the app”, “we”) is a private social accountability app for small groups of friends. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your club, we show your content only to the people in your club, and we don’t sell or share your data with advertisers — ever.
Data we collect
- Account data — your email address (used to sign you in) and a display name you choose. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email from them; we never see your password.
- Profile choices — your spirit animal avatar and your list of activities.
- Content you create — activity posts (what you did, amounts, units), optional proof photos, stamps and pokes you send, and your club membership.
- Technical data — an internal user ID, and a push notification token if you allow notifications. We also record when you were last active so your club can see your online status.
We do not collect your location, contacts, health data, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. There are no analytics trackers or ad SDKs in the app.
How we use it
- To run the service: show your posts to your club, deliver stamps, fill the meter, award the crown.
- To send push notifications you’ve opted into (a friend posted, stamped you, or poked you).
- To keep the service safe and debug problems.
That’s the whole list. No advertising, no profiling, no selling of data, no tracking across other apps.
Who sees your content
Only the members of your club. Clubs are private and joined by invite code — there is no public feed, no discovery, and no search. Deleting a post removes it for everyone.
Service providers
We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the app, each processing data on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and photo storage.
- Vercel — API hosting.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service — delivering push notifications.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete individual posts in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use the sign-out/leave options in Settings or email us at club@motivation-club.com — we’ll complete the deletion within 30 days.
Children
Motivation Club is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. Email us and we’ll honor them regardless of where you live.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and note it in the app.
